Born on December 2 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model best known for her roles in movies and television shows. Brandt began her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her character Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous shows over the past 10 years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Since 2016 Brandt is playing the role as Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt grew up at Cape Town South Africa. As she was in her teens, she relocated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand along with her mother and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career with ads and commercials. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel started when she worked in the retail industry and IT recruitment. She was Leilani, a New Zealander in the sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she appeared on Spartacus Blood and Sand as an unnamed young slave girl named Naevia. As well, she has reprised the Naevia character in the miniseries that predates Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred alongside the actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen, a demon who seeks bounty on Netflix's hit show Lucifer. The role she played in Lucifer is her most famous role that she has played to date. The series features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside and D. B. Woodside.
