Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th 1956 at Woodland Hills California. She was the home of her mother and was also a mom. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. When she was just 6, McCormick won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire whether the actress was keen to work in showbusiness. McCormick got her first big job when she was cast in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels latest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she starred in another commercial that aired on TV for the doll Chatty Cathy. After that, she was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom featured Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared an unmarried family. The five-year run of the show was a successful one. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the fifth season, she almost lost her virginity to her onscreen brother and co-star Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book, Here's the story: Surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice, that during season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. It would have happened she said but the timing wasn't right for us.
