Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons and the harpsichord over three years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her funds. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience in contrast to the other Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as an instrument player in the band Dragons Playground. However she left before the band went to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. The singer was the primary voice of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues soul tracks from her early childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. is a companion piece to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... It is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954, in Scotland is a philanthropist and an activist in the political arena. She sings. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career with her first album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio, features version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous or A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with the release of six studio albums on her own and one compilation.
